Today..

This dawn..
I woke up to my baby whimpering
Asking for a diaper change

This morning..
I grinned to my sons' smiling faces
As they fought sleepiness to face the day

This afternoon..
I will greet my sons
As they come home tired and sleepy

Then..
I will sing or read a story or listen to their stories
As their eyes slowly closing

Then..
I will lay myself near them
As I invite sleep to come to me

This evening..
I will have to answer tens of questions
As my sons remember everything they experienced during the day

Tonight..
I will find peace within myself
As I remember how eager I was to leave my job to live in days like today

Linux for Kids..

Kid: Linux was nice, Mum..

Mum: Eh? (Is primary school that advanced nowadays?)

Kid: Can I have Linux again, please?

Mum: I'll ask your dad..

Kid: Why do you need to ask Dad? Does Dad prepare my lunch?

Mum: I need to ask your dad because having Linux at home means a big change.. And, No.. Your dad doesn't prepare your lunch. I do.

Kid: (shaking his head in confusion) Never mind, Mum..

Mum: Here, you can have some snack for now (opening snack cupboard, and something fell out) Ouch! What is it?

Kid: (picking up an orange pack that fell) Why is this a big thing, Mum?

Mum: (staring at the orange pack) Oh, this is.. Oh, I thought.. Oh, never mind.. You can have some..

Good Night..

Good night crickets near the fish pond
Let your singing be my lullaby tonight

Good night soft breeze among the leaves
Let your dancing cool my heart and body as I am dreaming

Good night sky above the stars

That we often take them for granted..

When we search behind the modesty..

I say God works in the wisest ways..

When HE took our pillar of wisdom
I thought we would fall apart
But then I learned that HE wanted us to be stronger together and wiser..

I say God works in the most enlightening ways..

When HE took our torch of knowledge
I thought that we would be lost
But then I learned that HE wanted us to start enlightening our minds and share the sparks with others..

I say God works in the most loving ways..

When HE took my comfort of love
I thought I would freeze along with my aching heart and dripping tears
But then I learned that HE wanted me to see that it was my time to build better world of love for others..

I say God works in the most balanced ways..

Amidst my strive to hold my tears
Trying to find a way out of the seemingly unbearable nights
HE showed me my limits
And he offered me HIS consolation..

HE sent me a beautiful gem to wipe my tears away
And to heal the open wounds

HE gave me a chance to recover
And to learn that.. Behind each grieve, there is a gift

Because HE will never try us exceeding our strength
Because.. HE is the best healer..
