A Link About Copyright Myths

As this blog is where I wish to share my writing with everyone who is interested in reading my work on the internet, I believe that this is the right place to put this very important (and very useful) link for everyone to read.

For every author, each work takes ideas, inspiration, personal imagination/perception, time, creativity, motivation and endurance in seeing it becoming a well-done achievement.

Every author dreams about their work reaching the farthest end of the world, and being read by as many people as possible.. however, how the work is sent out to the world is part of each author's personal preference as it is a part of his/her perception of the work.

One way to appreciate an author's work is to simply acknowledge his/her right to the full set of a writing work including the ways the author would prefer to send the work to the world, which is by properly treating copyright that is attached to each work done by people other than ourselves.

Below is a blog post by Brad Templeton which explained the biggest misconceptions about copyright (especially about writing works on the internet). Reading and understanding his post about these misconceptions can open our minds in dealing with other authors' work in the future.
